Getting To Better Know Our Awesome Clinical Supervisor, Susan

SOMETIMES, WE’RE  GUILTY OF ASSUMING TOO MUCH, RIGHT? We recently realized that we’ve probably wrongly assumed that ALL of you—our valued patients—know Susan as well as we do! That’s probably not the case.

So, We Asked Susan A Few Questions

We asked Susan a few questions to help you get to know her a little better. Those questions are found below—along with her candid answers! Enjoy!

Where are you originally from?

“Susan was born in Glendale, California, but moved to Vista where she lived on a ranch with her 5 brothers and sisters.”

What made you decide that you wanted to become a dental assistant?

“Susan had an accident when she was 11 that broke her front teeth. In the months that followed restoring her teeth, the dental assistant was very caring, comforting, and kind. This inspired Susan to go into dentistry.”

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not at work?

“Susan loves to spend time with her husband of 38 years, Gary. She also loves to spend time with her children, their spouses and her 4 year old grandson.”

What do you enjoy most about being a dental assistant?

“Susan loves to assist Dr. Kangas is doing cosmetic cases. Restoring or creating a new smile significantly changes their lives. She also loves working with her team, Dr. Kangas and Amy. Susan has been at Citracado Dental Group (CDG) for 28 years.”

  • I have been a patient almost as long as Susan has been with Citracado.
    Along with Dr Kangas, Susan has been wonderful. Always putting me at ease and taking care at any treatment I have needed. Thank you Dr. Kangas for bringing her into your dental family.!
